The Role:
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a strong understanding of marketing principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As the Manager Copywriter, you will oversee the creation of compelling, persuasive, and innovative copy that effectively communicates our brand message across various channels. You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and ensure consistency in our brand voice.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Development:
- Manage the copywriting workflow, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery of projects
- Develop and execute content strategies that align with marketing objectives and drive engagement and conversions
- Create compelling, clear, and persuasive copy for a variety of marketing materials including website content, blog posts, email campaigns, social media posts, advertisements, and more
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure cohesive and visually appealing content
Brand Consistency:
- Maintain and enforce the brand voice and tone across all written communications
- Ensure all copy is aligned with the company’s brand guidelines and marketing goals
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research to understand target audiences, industry trends, and competitor activities
- Use insights from research to inform and improve copywriting strategies
Project Management:
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all content is delivered on time and meets the highest quality standards
- Work closely with the marketing team to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in a managerial role
- Proven track record of producing high-quality content across various channels
- Experience in developing and executing content strategies
Skills:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and other relevant software
- Strong research and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital marketing and SEO best practices
- Familiarity with content marketing and social media strategies
- Experience in B2B and B2C marketing
