We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and maintain our Lab infrastructure that’s used to provision 1000s of Kubernetes clusters for our students. The engineer will work closely with our engineers and developers and be responsible for maintaining infrastructure, setting up monitoring tools, troubleshooting issues, keeping systems up to date, and ensuring zero downtime.

Responsibilities:
- Building AMIs and Vagrant boxes with prebuilt templates using Packer
- Provisioning / Managing / Update and Decommissioning of infrastructure on the cloud using automation
- Deploy and maintain our lab infrastructure on cloud platforms
- Work with 3rd party vendors to make sure software deployed is up to date
- Debug production issues in infrastructure and perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Provide Level 3 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop and maintain automation framework using Terraform, Packer, Ansible, and Shell scripts
- Develop new lab environments for our courses using Docker and Kubernetes
- Reviewing and improving existing lab content
- Design procedures and document SOPs for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure and GCP), optimizing cloud costs, managing and responding to cloud monitoring alerts and events
- Help develop cloud-based labs
Experience Required - 7-11 years
Salary Range: 70K - 100K USD per year
