About the Role
KodeKloud is seeking an experienced Video Editor for our curriculum team with 70+ courses. You will be helping us scale our channel to a Million subscribers by creating top-quality content and helping educate millions of viewers while at it.
Responsibilities - What will you do:
- Proven abilities on Camtasia
- Edit videos produced by trainers that are aligned with KodeKloud standards to ensure they are published according to the course and curriculum framework.
- Ensure the videos produced are top-quality.
- Work with animation and graphic designers to create videos, transitions and other visuals.
- Manage end-to-end production from storyboarding to editing and post-production. Scripting and shooting will be taken care of by trainers/instructors.
- Establish workflows for video production and maintain a library of assets created.
- Create other online content, such as infographics, webinars, podcasts, etc., as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that brand standards are met in all video materials created.
- Be up to date with the latest video technologies, trends in the industry and innovations to improve the overall user experience.
- Develop an understanding of the target audience and produce content tailored to them.
- Create templates/processes that can speed up video editing efforts.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in Video Editing
- Expertise in Camtasia/ Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro (preferably Camtasia)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be creative and able to think outside the box when producing content.
- Ability to take direction and be flexible with changes in projects.
- Ability to understand content and apply appropriate cuts/transitions at the right places
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
